My name is Jeremy Kelly. I’ve been a freelance artist for the past nine years. I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2008, earning a BFA in the field of graphic design. My passion for art was fostered at a very young age by my grandfather, who was a longtime professional artist for nearly 50 years. As a child I watched my grandfather effortlessly express himself in the form of painting. Seeing the fulfillment he derived artistic expression made me want to do the same, thus art became my lifelong pursuit. Over the course of my development as an artist I learned that my talent  for art was intrinsically and often times unfortunately linked to my interest in what I was creating. So, rather than indulge in the typical operations of those in the art field, particularly those gainfully employed in said field, I worked in the fringes of the art world. This primarily involved creating miniature paintings on the surfaces of Magic the Gathering trading cards. Yes, I kid you not; this is an actual thing supported by a strong community. So, basically I tend to be reserved in what I artistically involve myself in. Indentured strikes me as a wonderfully unique and rich project which I’m more than happy to be involved with.
